UCLA JAMES LAWSON JR. WORKER JUSTICE CENTER DEDICATION CEREMONY

Dear friends and admirers of Rev. James Lawson,
On Saturday, December 11th, at 10am, we will dedicate the UCLA James Lawson Jr. Worker Justice Center.
Please join the LA County Federation of Labor and the UCLA Labor Center as we honor Rev. Lawson and the leaders who secured the $15 million in California state funds to create a permanent home for the UCLA Labor Center in the heart of LA, which will be named for civil and labor rights leader Rev. James Lawson Jr.
We will be joined by legislative leaders, elected officials, labor leaders, UCLA administrators, faculty and students, and friends and supporters of Rev. Lawson, who recently turned 93-years-old.
The celebration will take place at 675 S. Park View St., LA, CA, 90057. This will be an outdoor event. Given the likelihood of a good number of seniors at the gathering, we are requesting that all attendees be vaccinated and masked.
Please RSVP to Kandice Rander at krander@irle.ucla.edu
Thank you!
In unity,

Ron Herrera

President
