In light of the recent adversities occurring in our community against minority men, it was on our hearts to create a forum in which we focus on the development and education of young men. To bring together 200 inner city youth and engage with them by providing an all male panel to discuss topics that are prevalent in the community. The panel will be comprised of various men in different professions i.e. retired NFL football player, community leaders, youth pastors, musicians, entrepreneurs, educators, business professionals, and activists. The goal of this panel discussion is to offset some hostility towards public figures, provide insight on how to become pillars in the community, gain awareness on current political topics, diffuse any hostility or anger gained during the recent adversities against African American males, offer professional advice that will assist them in their careers and education and to share stories that will provide wisdom, understanding and encouragement.
JOIN US FOR THIS GATHERING as we bring together various inner city youth and engage with them by providing this all male Informative Panel to discuss topics that are prevalent in our community. The panel will be comprised of various men, including former NFL star Andra Davis, community leaders (i.e. musicians, entrepreneurs, teachers, business professionals, and activists).
The goal of this event is to :
