“An Ecumenical and Interfaith SERVICE IN SOLIDARITY Supporting Mark Ridley-Thomas” will call on the power of our faith tradition’s demand for truth and justice to prevail. MR-T’s personal faith is a cornerstone of the servant leadership he uses to empower our beloved community. This service will strengthen the Councilman and his family as he faces a significant challenge to his public service life.
The service is scheduled for Sunday, March 5, 2023 at Holman United Methodist Church (3320 W. Adams Blvd., Los Angeles 90018) from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in advance of the Councilman Mark Ridley-Thomas’ trial on Tuesday, March 7. It is organized by the South Los Angeles Clergy for Public Accountability, a network of pastors and ministers in South Los Angeles churches representing over 50,000 members.
