The Niles Foundation’s Halo Food Project has an opportunity to hire students and young professionals to experience and learn firsthand how our local food systems function and how to make them greater. The Niles Foundation
This project works directly with local and regional farmers, creates local distribution and increases retail for healthy foods consumption for BIPOC community fresh food access.
This project is scheduled to launch late this summer and will serve all of South Los Angeles with the highest quality farm direct foods making them available and affordable to our disinvested communities.

COMPENSATION
- $35,000 annual or $18.50/hour
- PT and FT Availability
- Paid Training Is Provided
- HFP Customer Specialist- Oversees the HFP project and will spend 100% of their time assisting with partner marketing, building relationships with customers, creating customer sales strategies and implements new business acquisition strategies. Assists with healthy foods quality control and HFP Store logistics and operations.
- HFP Success Specialists will spend 100% of their time supporting customer success, assisting with business acquisition strategies, marketing campaigns, updating websites, maintaining schedules and ensuring timely reports. Assists with healthy foods inventory, and HFP store logistics and operations.
- HFP Logistics Operators will spend 100% of their time with warehouse logistics and mobile store stocking, inventory, quality control, shelving, and merchandise displays. Operates mobile stores and assists the team with necessary information or support.
