FACE is pleased to announce our next AAPI Career Pathways Speaker Series for youths to provide mentorship and career advice opportunities on Friday, April 8th @ 5:00pm PST via Zoom.
The speakers will include Sergeant Janet Kim of the LAPD Air Support Division and Officer in Charge of the Special Flights Section (Sgt. Kim is the first Korean American woman to fill this role) and Captain Erick Kim of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department in the Custody Support Services/Custody Investigative Services.
FACE President Hyepin Im and Edward Yen, Assistant Executive Officer of the Board of Supervisors Executive Office will moderate the conversation.
All are welcome! Come and also learn about our AAPI Youth@Work Career Pathways Initiative for paid job training and internships opportunities in government, private sector and nonprofits for $15/hr for LA County youth ages 14-24.
